The reviews are coming in! Daniel Jolley, one of Amazon's top reviewers has declared that "Lauren Carr is one of the best out there right now." Click here to read his and other reviewers' praise for Lauren Carr's A Reunion to Die For!
Lauren Carr gave up her career of writing mysteries for television and stage to try her hand at writing novels.  She wrote A Reunion to Die For while staying at home with her now nine-year-old son. It is her second full-length novel. Her first book, A Small Case of Murder, was named finalist for the Independent Publisher Book Awards. Lauren learned to love mysteries as a child when her mother read Perry Mason to her at bedtime. She continues to feed her passion with her membership in the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. Lauren lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

Before Lauren became a mystery writer, she learned about the writing business writing humor columns for newspapers in the Washington metropolitan area. (Yes, that can be a strange combination--murder and humor.) If you want an insight into the "glamorous" life of a mystery writer, or just a chuckle, check out The Life and Times of Lauren Carr. This week, in "How to Succeed in Business--As Long As Dad Doesn't Find Out" Lauren recalls his son's success with his first business.

Lauren Carr is available for book signings, discussions with book groups, or speaking engagements.
